Reflection
of the Future

Plovdiv, Bulgaria

A contemporary home where sculptural design meets the quiet comfort of everyday life.

Soft curves, warm oak and shifting reflections define this 200 m² residence in Plovdiv. Conceived as a continuous composition, the interior brings architecture, bespoke furniture and integrated technology into a shared language of rounded forms and carefully framed light.

Full-height timber volumes give the spaces warmth and rhythm. Stone introduces depth and texture, while polished metal reflects fragments of the room, changing with the light and the viewer’s position. A restrained palette allows these contrasts to emerge gently.

Technology is woven into the architecture, from concealed lighting to a television hidden within an artwork. Every element contributes to a home that feels intuitive, composed and distinctly personal.

A Continuous Language
Curves connect the architecture to the objects within it.

Rounded oak volumes, softly contoured seating and sculptural furniture establish a visual rhythm throughout the home. Ceiling lines and changes in flooring define the different living areas while preserving the openness between them. Each view reveals another connection: a repeated radius, an aligned edge or a reflection of the space beyond.

A Centre Defined by Light
The dining area becomes the room’s architectural centre.

A luminous ceiling circle frames the round dining table, whose generous top rests on a spherical base. Below, a circular floor inlay completes the composition. Upholstered chairs echo the same rounded geometry, giving the setting a sense of intimacy within the open plan.

The Kitchen, Composed
Everyday functions are integrated into a precise arrangement of materials.

Tall oak volumes frame a recessed kitchen wall, where fluted surfaces meet the expressive texture of stone. Storage and appliances are incorporated into the surrounding joinery, allowing the material composition to remain clear. Concealed illumination brings depth to the recess and emphasises the transitions between surfaces.

Art in Motion
One wall holds two different experiences.

A large portrait interwoven with botanical linework gives the living room its focal point. Integrated into movable panels, the artwork opens to reveal the television behind it. When closed, the image becomes whole again, returning the room to a setting shaped by art, texture and conversation.

A Reflective Sculpture
The kitchen island takes on the presence of a freestanding object.

With rounded corners and a mirror-polished surface, the island reflects the oak floor, pale upholstery and changing daylight. Its appearance shifts across the room, softening its visual weight. Alongside the stone kitchen elements, it introduces a more fluid, expressive character to the practical heart of the home.

The Warmth of Detail
A restrained palette gains richness through texture.

Oak grain, softly textured upholstery and deep rugs bring warmth to the interior. Reflective side tables introduce small moments of contrast beside the generous seating. A delicate geometric motif punctuates the timber joinery, giving the bespoke cabinetry a recognisable detail without interrupting its calm proportions.

An Entrance in Reflection
The home’s material language begins at the threshold.

Curved mirrored surfaces and fine lines of light shape the entrance, reflecting the oak cabinetry and opening unexpected views. Reflections extend the space and draw the eye around its corners. It is an introduction to the character of the residence: warm, sculptural and quietly futuristic.
